In addition to traditional agriculture, a number of farm buildings and residential properties under the estate of Clausholm are rented out. As a consequence of an ongoing rationalization process, some of the properties previously occupied by staff are now used as private dwellings.

14 of Clausholm’s residential properties are rent out, five of these are substantial farmhouses, and nine are houses of between 100 and 165 m². Some of the houses date back to the 1700s, among these the old mill, which backs on to the Castle and Castle Park.

Many of the properties are located in areas of great natural beauty and enjoy views of both the woods and the countryside, where there is plenty of scope for recreational activities – far away from hectic city life.
